Of course no Catholic school would be complete without strong and active links with the parish. The school and church work together on some of the Sacramental preparation programmes, as well as on social events.

Most of the school staff who live locally, are involved in parish life in one way or another.
There are regular meetings between the Governors and staff.

Galaxy Kids  With animation, voiceovers, music and sound effects, this site  is ideally designed for parents and kids to use together. It's not  free, but kids will love it.

Cool Planet    Kids tend to put their parents to shame when it comes to  concern for the planet and they'll love this.
A useful alternative geography lesson, too.
